What we’re seeking
Maven Packaging is seeking an experienced shipping and receiving associate who is willing to perform other duties as required. Must be able to obtain a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

· Partner with other personnel to ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries.

· Pull orders, stage orders for shipment, safely load and unload shipments.

· Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and document as required.

· Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.

· Report damages and discrepancies in accordance with company protocol.

· Receive and unpack materials and supplies and take appropriate action to ensure materials are delivered, stored or shipped properly.

· Operate forklift and pallet jack as required to complete tasks.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas including vehicles.

· Safely operate motor vehicle (flatbed, pickup truck) to make trips to dump as necessary to manage waste.

· Follow all company policies, processes, and procedures including quality and safety standards.

· Support production in other areas when shipping and receiving workload allows.

What you need
· Do you have 1 – 3 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment?

· Do you have a valid driver's license?

· Are you comfortable driving a forklift and do you have the ability to obtain Forklift certification?

· Do you have experience operating a motor vehicle in a work environment?

· Are you also willing to support production in the assembly areas when necessary?

· Do you have basic computer skills and the ability to coordinate shipments and print labels, etc.?

· Can you pass a drug test and background investigation?

· Ability to work well with team and to communicate effectively?

· Do you have the ability to lift 20-30 pounds?

· Are you available to work full time, M-Th, from 5am-3:45pm?

· Are you available to work overtime when required?
