What we're seeking

KD Wood Company, Inc./ DBA Maven Packaging is seeking reliable Production Team Members to work in our Wood Shop located in Lancaster, CA. 

Summary of Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks in a wood shop environment such as cutting and assembling parts to manufacture products according to specification.
• Operate equipment such as table saws, chop saws, band saws, radial arm saw, drill press, nail guns, staple guns, and forklifts to perform tasks required to meet production requirements.
• Use a tape measure proficiently to determine dimensions and to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to all company policy and procedures including quality and safety standards.
• Support other tasks and different work areas as production needs require.

What you need

• Do you have experience in production assembly, or manufacturing? Woodworking or carpentry experience preferred, but not required.
• Can you learn to proficiently read a tape measure within 60 days? We will test proficiency onsite.
• Are you comfortable in a wood shop manufacturing environment?
• Are you reliable?
• Can you pass a background check that includes pre-employment substance screening and criminal history?
• Are you able to follow instructions?
• Are you eager and willing to learn new techniques, processes and procedures?
• Do you have the ability to work well with team and to communicate effectively?
• Do you have the ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly?
• Can you work 5:00am-3:45pm Monday through Thursday?
