Job Title: Cable Technician II
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: 5/12/2026
Job Description:
- 1–3 years of experience in structured cabling or low-voltage installations
- Experience with installing, terminating, and testing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A. Fiber Optic cabling is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and schematics
- Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and industry best practices
- Experience with cable pathways (conduit, cable tray, J-hooks, ladder rack, etc.)
- Familiarity with testing equipment (Fluke testers, tone/probe, certification tools)
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and connectivity
Required PPE: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Safety Vest, hard toe work boots, work gloves
Required Tools: Basic industry Hand Tools
Salary : $24 - $27
