Job Overview: The fine arts lead teacher will coordinate with the MCPS instruction team to plan, implement, and provide support for the arts programs in the schools in MCPS. This position is a part-time position that will receive a stipend for compensation.
Job Functions:
- Collaborate with Instruction Team to plan professional learning;
- Facilitate professional learning;
- Coordinate with Instruction Team to create budget requests for the Arts programs in MCPS;
- Promote the Arts programs in MCPS
- Provide support and consultation to teachers with fine arts programming in MCPS schools
- Provide training and education for school personnel;
- Improve positive classroom engagement, interactions, and educational achievement for students participating in the Arts programs in MCPS.
- Foster positive partnerships between schools and student families through Arts programming.
- Foster positive partnerships between MCPS and community stakeholders through Arts programming.
