Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of software, and ability to adapt easily. This role involves maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting various accounting functions to help the organization achieve its financial goals efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounting and perform balance sheet reconciliation regularly.
- Prepare and record journal entries, Conduct bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing.
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken to record transactions and generate financial reports.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, including governmental reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and account reconciliation tasks to provide insights into financial health.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll, vendor payments, and client billing processes.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, including public accounting, non-profit accounting, or other specialized fields as applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
