Overview
Maurer Painting is a premium residential & commercial painting company with nearly 30 years of history serving Boulder County's homeowners, custom home builders, and realtors. We're hiring a Project Manager to own production from pre-job planning through completion. You'll create, monitor, and improve our production system across planning and field operations. You'll own scheduling, crew assignments, quality control, and profitability while serving as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout their projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage painting schedule and communicate crew assignments
- Conduct job start and completion walks with crew leads and homeowners
- Interface with homeowners and provide updates throughout each project
- Assign the right crews to each project based on scope and skill
- Handle change orders as new scope arises—documenting and communicating with both customers and crews
- Track job profitability across materials, labor, and rentals
- Run quality control and ensure all touch-ups are addressed before closeout
- Organize and manage project documentation
- Lead weekly production, operations, and pre-ops meetings
- Hit project gross profit margin and monthly revenue goals on a predictable schedule
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in painting / construction / trades project management
- Proven planning, sequencing, and scheduling ability
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to direct crews and resolve issues
- Excellent personal organization and time/task management
- Detail-driven with a quality-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Painting Industry
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, PaintScout, or Google Workspace
- Bilingual (English & Spanish speaking)
Additional financial incentives tied to hitting gross profitability goals per project.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
