Beautiful Maunalani Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center atop Wilhelmina Rise is seeking a Maintenance Worker to assist with all areas of the facility in keeping a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company policy.
Established in 1950, Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility located on Wilhelmina Rise in Kaimuki. We take great pride in caring for our Kupuna. Proud and supportive of our mission, “Doing what we do best, taking care of people and changing the perception of long-term care,” we are looking for a Maintenance Worker.
This position will be responsible for the essential duties including, but not limited to minor repairs such as painting, electrical, cleaning exteriors of the facility, along with interior cleaning of common work area. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, team player, and compassionate individual. In addition, ensures cleanliness and presentation of rooms for newly admitted residents and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of basic practices and methods in the repair of buildings, including safety procedures; common tools, equipment and materials used in the carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical trades; electro-mechanical appliances used in homes and other buildings.
Lift/Carry Requirement:Some positions required lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds assisted by another person and/or use of equipment (e.g., hoisting equipment, hand truck)
Education:
Preferred high school diploma or equivalent. At least six (6) months prior experience in Long Term Care Home.
Requirements: 2 step TB clearance, and Criminal background check and drug screen clearance are also required.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
