The Director of Revenue Optimization is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive revenue strategies that drive profitability, market share, and long-term asset value. This role partners closely with property leadership, regional teams, home office, and ownership to optimize pricing, distribution, segmentation, and demand generation across all revenue channels.
The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise, strategic vision, and strong executive presence to influence decision-making and deliver measurable performance outcomes in a luxury hospitality environment.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue optimization strategy aligned with property positioning and market dynamics.
- Analyze transient and group KPIs, pace, segmentation, and channel performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive electronic distribution and merchandising strategy, ensuring optimal pricing, content, positioning, and channel performance.
- Partner with digital marketing teams to develop integrated marketing plans that balance long-term brand positioning with short-term demand generation initiatives.
- Align distribution, sales, and marketing strategies to optimize channel mix and profitability.
- Design and execute dynamic luxury pricing strategies by room type and product category.
- Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings to evaluate performance, align stakeholders, and implement actionable strategies.
- Demonstrate accountability, executive presence, and strong cross-functional leadership in all interactions with ownership and senior leadership.
- Create and maintain accurate day-by-day forecasts to support pricing and inventory decisions.
- Leverage Revenue Management platforms to identify booking patterns, demand shifts, and pricing opportunities.
- Monitor all distribution channels to ensure rate integrity, availability accuracy, and proper merchandising of inventory.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the hotel’s competitive set and evolving market positioning to inform strategic pricing decisions.
- Ensure ancillary revenue strategies are integrated into overall revenue strategy.
- At least 5 years experience in Revenue Management, preferably in a luxury resort environment. Knowledge of Hawaii is also strongly considered, as well as any additional hotel operational department experience.
- College major in Hotel Management or related Business Administration or Business equivalent.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions. High School Diploma preferred.
