Maumee Valley Group is looking for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance Department in Florida, OH as a Maintenance Technician.
Summary: The Repair Technician is responsible for the technical maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of vending and micro market equipment to ensure optimal functionality and service reliability. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing and commitment to high-quality technical service. The technician will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance across a variety of vending machines, coffee machines, ice makers, coolers, and freezers, ensuring timely resolution of service issues and contributing to customer satisfaction and
operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
On call rotating schedule (usually once a month)
This position has a 7:00 am start time but no definitive end time. (Most days end between 3pm-5pm).
This position requires a CLEAN driving record and you must be 21 years of age.
This position requires driving different types of vehicles such as vans and box trucks and must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and calibrations to reduce equipment downtime.
- Replace worn or defective components including motors, coin mechanisms, compressors, and circuit boards.
- Respond promptly to service calls, maintaining accurate documentation of repairs, parts usage, and service outcomes.
- Install, test, and configure equipment to meet client specifications.
- Maintain a detailed maintenance log and ensure compliance with company repair and service standards.
- Collaborate with route and inventory teams to report recurring issues and suggest equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical repair preferred.
- Minimum [2 ] years of experience in repair or related technical field.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems, payment systems, and electronic control panels.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform field service duties.
- Requires you to work in our Florida warehouse as well as respond promptly to service calls.
- On the road most days, clocking in from home!
- Exposure to varying work environments, including indoor, outdoor, and warehouse settings.
- Traveling in a company vehicle to help with service calls.
