Job Overview
Looking for a quality, dedicated, self-starter, detail-oriented cleaning person for part-time work. The job requires cleaning after business hours three nights a week for a total of 14 hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order at the Maumee Senior Center. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct cleaning tasks and minor maintenance duties while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring all areas are well-kept and functional.
- Handle custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the director promptly.
Requirements
- Must undergo a complete background check.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Must have transportation.
- Evening hours Sunday-Thursday.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- References required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors.
