Responsibilities
- Carefully fold laundry, garments, and textiles following established standards for presentation and quality.
- Sort items by type, size, and care instructions to streamline processing workflows.
- Assist with washing and drying processes by handling garments with care and ensuring proper packaging.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including folding stations and laundry rooms, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while ensuring accuracy in item handling.
- Inspect items for damage or stains, reporting issues promptly to supervisors for resolution.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Lift 40-60 Pound bags
Skills
- Experience with laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding techniques.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper handling of textiles.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous due to exposure to high standards of presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
