Maui Pie Customer Service Team Member

Job Summary

Aloha! We are looking for a high-energy, reliable individual to join our bakery Ohana at Maui Pie. In this role, you’ll deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing friendly service, handling pies and baked goods with care, and ensuring every guest enjoys their time at Maui Pie. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel appreciated and eager to return.

For this role, you must be available to work evenings (specifically Thursday evening until 8pm) and Weekends.

This Position offers a generous tip percentage based on hours worked.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with Aloha and genuine service: Assist with menu selections and offer delicious options to enhance their experience.
• Move with purpose: Deliver fast, efficient service to keep the line moving without ever making the guests feel rushed.
• Keep it Pristine: Maintain a sparkling clean shop and ensure our pies always look as good as they taste.
• Showcase the Goods: Ensure proper presentation of our pies, from the display case to the final box-up.
• Operate POS system efficiently for order processing, cash handling and transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations and dining spaces.

Your Experience:

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during high-volume periods
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
