What are the responsibilities and job description for the HQHVSN Surgeon position at Maui Humane Society?
Maui Humane Society is an open-air animal shelter for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, and other animals. We provide veterinary and routine care and help surrendered animals find a new home. We also provide humane law enforcement services, education and outreach, programs to retain pets in their families, and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries. We're excited to welcome you as our next high quality high volume spay neuter (HQHVSN) surgeon. You will perform impressive high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries daily while diagnosing and as needed other surgeries or medical procedures including soft tissue and dental procedures. We are open to regularly scheduled part time (10 hour per day shift) or full time for this role.
To be successful in this role you'll need to have (minimum qualifications):
- Have or be able to obtain a State of Hawaii Veterinary License
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
- HQHVSN experience
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
