Role Overview
As a Bell Attendant/Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to the hotel and ensuring their luggage is safely transported to their room. Additionally, you will provide shuttle transportation to guests around the hotel and local area.
Essential Functions
- Greet guests as they arrive at the hotel and provide assistance with their luggage
- Transport luggage to guests' rooms and ensure they are properly stored
- Provide guests with information about the hotel and local area
- Operate the hotel shuttle to transport guests to/from the airport
- Ensure the shuttle is clean and well-maintained at all times
- Assist with maintaining the hotel's cleanliness, including cleaning the lobby and public areas
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including those related to driving and luggage handling
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guests are satisfied with their experience
Requirement & Qualifications
- Proficient in English communication (speaking, reading, and writing) to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management, ensuring clear understanding and seamless communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Prior experience as a bell attendant, shuttle driver, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy luggage up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of Maui and its attractions preferred
