Schedule: Monday-Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. potentially multiple locations per shift (up to 40 hours per week but no guarantee on hours as each shift varies)

Job Type: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour

Position Overview:

Maug Cleaning, Inc. is seeking a flexible and dependable Floating Technician for commercial night shift cleaning throughout the Eau Claire area. This full-time field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys change, adapts quickly, and doesn’t like being in the same place every night.

Floating Technicians fill in for team members who are out unexpectedly. You'll work at a variety of client sites and with different teammates, traveling up to 30 miles around Eau Claire. This position requires strong independence, reliability, and a readiness to respond to last-minute schedule changes.

This role is ideal for those with previous janitorial or custodian experience—or anyone looking for a flexible, independent cleaning job with part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks following company standards
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in shared and assigned areas
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cleaning protocols
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Stay within the client’s allotted time limit using strong time management skills
• Adapt quickly to changes in schedule, team members, and locations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team leads and supervisors
• Drive to multiple locations throughout the night as needed
• Clean a variety of commercial buildings and office spaces across the region

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
• Strong adaptability and comfort with nightly schedule changes
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with different teammates
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable working night shifts and traveling up to 30 miles nightly
• Open to a varied schedule and working with new people regularly
