MCT is seeking a customer-focused, sales-driven Personal Banker II/Sales Support to join our branch team. This role combines relationship banking, customer service, lending support, and operational excellence to help customers achieve their financial goals while contributing to branch growth and success.
As a Personal Banker II, you will serve as a trusted financial partner for our customers, identifying needs, recommending solutions, opening accounts, supporting loan requests, and making referrals to specialized banking partners. You'll also provide leadership and mentorship to newer team members while helping ensure smooth branch operations.
What You'll Do
Customer RelationshipSales
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive outreach.
- Open and service deposit accounts, consumer loans, and other banking products.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, and customer relationship development.
- Refer customers to specialized partners, including Wealth Management, Cash Management, Mortgage, Commercial Lending, Merchant Services, and Business Banking.
- Support branch sales initiatives and help achieve individual and team goals.
LendingFinancial Services
- Process loan applications and assist customers with consumer and real estate-secured lending products.
- Support loan closings and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist customers with more complex banking and lending needs.
Customer ServiceTeller Operations
- Deliver outstanding service by resolving customer inquiries and account issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Team LeadershipBranch Support
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced team members.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching new Personal Bankers.
- Participate in branch marketing events and community outreach activities.
- Prepare reports and provide information requested by management.
Sales AdministrationOperational Support
- Maintain deposit and loan sales pipelines.
- Track sales activity, referrals, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and distribute sales and pipeline reports.
- Coordinate meetings, customer follow-up, and sales activities.
- Support lending and sales teams with documentation, scheduling, and administrative functions.
- Ensure timely follow-through on customer leads and referrals.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of personal banking, retail banking, or related financial services experience.
- Proven success in sales and cross-selling financial products and services.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of wealth management products and services.
- Experience with consumer lending and loan documentation.
- Leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.

Physical Requirements
This position is primarily performed in a branch office environment and requires the ability to:

- Work extended hours as needed to support business needs.
