MATV BILLBOARDS ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Full-Time Position

MATV BILLBOARDS of Washington DC is looking for highly motivated sales professionals to join our Sales Team. As an Advertising Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the sales of MATV Billboards’ services to prospective, existing and past clients through the solicitation and acquisition of prospective and existing clients and maintain a level of high satisfaction. MATV Billboards works with companies and businesses of all sizes from local businesses to fortune 500 companies, charities, nonprofits and more. In addition, our company works with local, state and federal government entities, political candies and PACs, Multiple Military branches, local law enforcement and emergency response services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE;

ACQUISITION OF CLIENTS

• Makes sales calls to prospective and existing clients
• Attends business association meetings, events and conventions
• Research & identify potential clients online, on social media site as well as new & existing business listings
• Contact assigned clients, both new and previous
• Answer and respond to incoming sales calls and web inquiries
• Seek out potential opportunities such as sponsorships, partnerships and charitable opportunities

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create custom service strategies specific to the needs of each client that show and identify and address the client's needs while providing clear and concise solutions that deliver results
• Creates and proposes advertising recommendations that best suit customer needs
• Submit approved proposals, sales agreements and other sales related documentation to clients and prospects
• Deliver presentations via zoom, phone call, and face to face, to a marketing team or group
• Overcome objections and address concerns in a professional, upstanding manner
• Improvise plans and strategies, with little or no notice to conform to the needs and requests of the client

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

• Work with the MATV Billboards Team to ensure the accurate scheduling of client services
• Ensure all client submitted content and media is accurate to spec and received in a timely manner as was agreed on
• Ensure all client payments are received as agreed on
• Remain in daily/weekly contact with each client throughout the duration of service
• Attend the launch of service, giving notice to the client of your presence
• Prepare and distribute regular service reports to each client

ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

• Meet or exceed minimum sales requirements and customer satisfaction criteria
• Attend all sales, strategy and creative services meetings
• Adhere to all company service and pricing policies
• Stay current with today’s trends, advertising competitors, mediums and platforms
• Daily touch base with management to review sales, updates, daily progress, new opportunities, client issues, etc.
• Participate in business community activities and events
• Consistently maintain a high level of professionalism in office and in field
• Collaborate strategies with the MATV Billboards Management & Sales Team to develop new opportunities
• Participate and assist with special projects designated and/or assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• Minimum of 1-2 years minimum experience in advertising or media sales preferred, not required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience using Apple and Adobe products and CRM software preferred, not required
• Travel to clients, conventions and meetings when required
• Have a personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license

Our pay plan includes; Base Salary plus commission and benefits

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $52,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
