  • Works with PMs to identify cost impacts, forecast field budgets, and minimize overruns.
  • Navigates inspection and approval processes confidently; coordinates with AHJs and inspectors to achieve timely sign-offs.

3. Safety and Quality Control/Quality Assurance

  • Develops, maintains, and enforces the site-specific safety and quality control plan for all subcontractors and work activities.

  • Conducts safety inspections, toolbox talks, and ensures field staff follow Matukat's safety standards.
  • Maintains and implements project logistics and temporary facility plans.
  • Issues incident and near-miss reports promptly and follows up on all corrective actions.

4. Schedule

  • Develops and maintains the overall project schedule, including 4- and 8-week lookaheads.
  • Proficient in CPM scheduling; integrates field activities and team input into the master schedule.
  • Tracks delays and fragnet impacts and communicates updates clearly with the PM and client.
  • Directs field sequencing and resource planning based on critical path activities.
  • Anticipates and mitigates conflicts by applying solid planning and scheduling logic.

5. Site Management

  • Acts as the “Field General” overseeing site-wide operations, logistics, safety, and sequencing.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Owner, A/E team, inspectors, AHJs, and vendors.
  • Maintains daily urgency and holds the team accountable for quality and progress.
  • Coordinates and resolves complex jobsite issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensures compliance with SWPPP and environmental plans.
  • Produces accurate daily field reports and documents all key decisions and field changes to protect the project and Matukat.
