Forklift Operator- (Standup) 2nd shift M-F 2:15pm-10:15pm

The Standup Forklift Driver is responsible for the retrieval and delivery of needed materials or scrap removal for all departments in the plant. Must have at least a few years of recent experience on standup forklift.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Remove and empty all scrap dumpsters in the production area including Molding, Dauber, Press, and Solder departments.
• Move skids from washer to lining area as needed.
• Retrieve materials from cold room storage area as materials are needed.
• Bring WIP and raw materials from the warehouse as requested by production.
• Pick and place materials in storage racks.
• Stock Lining and Rotary Threaders with caps and shells.
• Take WIP and finished goods from production areas to the warehouse.
• Retrieve solder paste from the warehouse and store in the cold room enclosure.
• Move filled gaylords from zone 2 to rotary area as needed. Move empty gaylords from lining to zone 2.
• Communicate with shipping and production supervisors regarding their needs and to support efficient use of storage space and racking.
• Perform required transfer/PC transactions into ERP system using both PC and Scanner.
• Use ERP system reports to analyze inventory and transactions.
• Perform inventory Reconciliation and Physical Counts.
• Coordinate Material Requisitions
• Return Materials to  FUL INBOUND / BOXTRUCK
• Pickup Material from  FUL OUTBOUND / BOXTRUCK BINS
• Other misc. duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:

1 years Standup Forklift experience required.

Computer Skills:

General computer skills required. (Word, Excel) experience with a form of Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.

Other Requirements:

NNBC Forklift certification required.
