POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is to support Xerxes' growth in the stormwater infrastructure market by optimizing customer stormwater plans, providing product engineering support, and developing technical documentation.
DUTIES:
- Understand fundamentals of Xerxes’ products, installation standards, and hydrology/hydraulics of storm events.
- Review site and drainage plans to identify design criteria.
- Select optimal product solutions and system layouts.
- Prepare detention system designs in AutoCAD, including layout drawings, material lists, and deliverable plans for engineers and installers.
- Work directly with Sales Team to provide project-specific design guidance, product selection, and engineering support."
- Draft technical documents including testing reports, design guides, and installation manuals.
- Perform engineering calculations for construction loads and stormwater runoff hydraulics on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with structural analysis of underground chambers and other stormwater products.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal templates, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and consistency."
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - Must.
- Previous related experience or Internships in Construction, Civil Design or manufacturing - Preferred.
- EI/ EIT - Preferred.
- General Computer Skills i.e. MS Office and AutoCad.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Effective communication between teams.
- Self Managemenet of workload and schedule.
