Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Sales Support / Inside Sales Coordinator to assist our team and customers throughout the memorial purchasing process. This role focuses on supporting sales activities, managing order details, and ensuring a smooth experience from initial inquiry through production.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys customer interaction, organization, and behind-the-scenes coordination, while also having an interest in developing sales skills over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Support customers with general questions and guide them through next steps
- Assist the sales team with entering and processing orders, and follow-up communication with customers
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information
- Help coordinate design details such as lettering, layouts, and artwork
- Work with production teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
- Verify cemetery requirements and ensure orders meet all guidelines
- Track order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Assist with virtual consultations and online sales support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or inside sales
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
- Comfortable handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Interest in sales and willingness to grow into a more sales-focused role over time
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in memorial, cemetery, or funeral services industry
- Administrative or sales support background
- Bilingual is a plus
