This is a 2-3 week seasonal job starting June 24th ending July 5th selling TNT fireworks.

Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking firework tables, organizing displays, and maintaining tent appearance
- Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to ensure product availability
- Engage in retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and promotional offers
- Promote store promotions and upselling techniques to maximize sales potential
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers confidently
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos and upsell effectively
