About us: As a concrete contractor, we work on both private and public works projects. Our company is located 2 hours north of Sacramento, in Red Bluff, California and we perform work throughout Northern California. Overview: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to freshly poured concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating equipment. The Concrete Finisher will be working at job sites throughout Northern California. This is a full time position with competitive pay and benefits. Pay: Rate: $20.00-$40.00 per hour -and- Current prevailing wage pay for public works projects (fringe benefit pay included) Responsibilities: - Design and build forms; set up forms; and, pour concrete - Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by leveling, and smoothing them - Use hand tools and power tools to apply finishes - Operate equipment, such as power trowels and screeds, to spread and level concrete - Restore or repair damaged concrete surfaces - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Skills: - Proficiency in designing, building, setting up forms, and pouring concrete - Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and tools - Experience operating equipment used in concrete finishing - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time - Knowledge of mechanical systems related to concrete forming and finishing - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship Requirements: - Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -Ability to travel We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
