Quality Manager
A manufacturing company in Kenosha, WI is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee ISO 9001 programs, lead quality initiatives, and ensure compliance across the facility. This role has full authority over product quality and will drive continuous improvement while supervising the quality team.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager
Manage ISO and quality programs including supplier certification, traceability, audits, corrective actions, and document control
Serve as the company’s ISO Quality Management Representative, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating third-party registration
Supervise quality control, technical, service, and warranty teams with full responsibility for training, coaching, and performance management
Review blueprints, documentation, and vendor manuals for compliance with company standards
Lead investigations, corrective actions, and resolution of quality issues
Approve or reject purchased materials and products based on inspection results
Maintain quality documentation, reporting, and records retention for ISO compliance
Establish inspection methods, testing standards, and reliability evaluations
Conduct management review meetings, coordinate audits, and maintain department budget
Requirements of the Quality Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field (experience may substitute for education)
Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing with ISO 9001 program management
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams
Knowledge of SPC, audits, quality systems, and inspection methods
Proficient with measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and CMM
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office proficiency; Six Sigma certification preferred; MBA a plus
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
This is a 1st shift direct hire opportunity.
Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually, based on experience.
