Manual Machinist
The manual machinist will set up and operate various machine tools, including Bridgeport mills, to manufacture precision machine parts. This role works closely with the Engineering Department and Machine Shop Supervisor to ensure parts meet design specifications and production deadlines.
Responsibilities of the Manual Machinist
- Set up and operate milling, drilling, grinding, and other manual machines
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate parts
- Collaborate with the Machine Shop Supervisor and team to meet production schedules
- Perform quality checks and maintain records of completed work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
Requirements of the Manual Machinist
- 3–5 years of relevant experience operating manual machine tools
- Experience with Bridgeport mills preferred
- Basic knowledge of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay is $25.00 - $30.00 an hour, based on experience
