Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks in a production environment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work any shift based on production needs and seniority
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades preferred
- Experience in corrugated packaging or printing industry preferred
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on plant equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support operational goals
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing training to develop multi-craft maintenance skills
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
2nd and 3rd shift available, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $34.00 - $38.00, based on experience
