HR Administrator
A manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, IL is looking for an HR Administrator to join their team. The HR Administrator is responsible for maintaining personnel records, updating databases, scheduling interviews, benefits administration, onboarding, general administrative support, and preparing HR-related reports.
Responsibilities of the HR Administrator
- Support daily HR operations and administrative tasks using ADP or similar HR software.
- Maintain accurate HR files and personnel records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare HR documents, including offer letters, onboarding forms, and employment paperwork.
- Schedule, coordinate, and screen interviews for candidates.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist payroll with employee information, including leaves of absence, sick days, and schedules.
- Create reports and presentations on HR metrics, including turnover and recognition programs.
- Support HR projects, such as job fairs, open enrollment, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements of the HR Administrator
- Proven experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Proficient with HR systems such as ADP, HRIS, or HRMS.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR procedures.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- High level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
Full Time, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $55,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience
