Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and performing cleaning tasks efficiently. Prior hospital or nursing home experience is a plus, as it provides familiarity with state and federal standards. Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines
- Sort, fold, and organize clean linens and garments for distribution or storage
- Perform stain removal and fabric care procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to adhere to safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for chemicals and machinery
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or cleaning roles preferred
- Hospital or Long term care industry experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and fabric care techniques preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: From $10.50 per hour
