Fertilization Technician

At Matthews Landscape, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality lawn and landscape services that protect and enhance homes, businesses, and properties. We are seeking an experienced Fertilization Technician. The Fertilization Tech will be responsible for managing his own day-to-day fert routes and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Oversee and manage own fertilization routes for the day
• Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and plant nutrients according to manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.
• Operate spreaders, sprayers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and clean equipment daily, including calibration checks to ensure accurate application.
• Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred in sod management, fertilization, or lawn care services but willing to train.
• Strong desire to learn about fertilizers, pesticides, and lawn care best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
