Automotive Technician – Join the Matthews CDJR of Vinita Team!

We’re looking for a driven, motivated Service Technician to join our team at Matthews Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Vinita!

Qualifications

• Dealership experience or extensive automotive repair experience, with strong skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, computer diagnostics, wiring schematics, ADAS technology, powertrain systems, and diesel engines.
• Experience servicing and repairing a variety of makes and models is highly preferred. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram experience is a plus.
• Experience with transmissions, brakes, suspension, shocks and struts, alignments, tires, steering systems, diesel repair, and other general automotive services.
• Ability to accurately diagnose vehicle concerns and perform quality repairs using proper service procedures and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other equipment commonly used in a professional dealership service department.
• Ability to read and understand technical service information, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Willingness to participate in manufacturer training, certifications, and continued technical education to stay current with changing vehicle technology and repair procedures.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a commitment to quality workmanship, vehicle safety, and proper repair standards.
• Ability to efficiently complete repairs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and driven to exceed expected hours, improve productivity, and grow earning potential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly explain vehicle concerns and completed repairs.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently while contributing to a team-focused dealership service department.

Pay:
