The seasonal agricultural workers will assist with grain production on a 3,500-acre farm in Mohall, North Dakota, during peak labor demand from mid-April through early November. Duties include preparing fields for planting, which involves operating and maintaining farm equipment to till and condition soil. Workers will seed fields using appropriate machinery, ensuring accurate placement and coverage. They will apply fertilizers and crop protection products, following safety protocols and application instructions to support healthy crop development. During the growing season, workers will monitor field conditions, assist with irrigation as needed, and perform other crop care tasks. At harvest, workers will operate or assist with combines and grain carts to collect and transport crops. Responsibilities also include cleaning and maintaining equipment, loading and storing harvested grain, and performing general farm labor to support ongoing operations. Workers must be able to follow instructions, perform tasks efficiently and safely, and handle physically demanding work in varying weather conditions. The position requires experience with field work and the ability to work six days per week, averaging 8 hours per day. This role is critical to ensuring timely planting, crop maintenance, and harvest to meet production goals during the peak grain season. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
