- Assisting patients with the selection of frames and lenses
- Eyewear adjustment and repair
- Teaching patients contact lens insertion and removal
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Ordering glasses from the lab
- Ordering contact lens from the distributor
- Billing VSP and Eyemed claims
- Pretesting patients for the doctor
- Helping keep the office neat and clean ( running the vacuum and dusting the eyeglass displays)
