What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech position at Matthew D. Bostian, DDS?
We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time DA1/Sterilization Tech. You will be cross-trained to help out in sterilization, front desk, and some basic chairside procedures. We are open Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm with a daily 1 hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm. Pay and benefits will be based on experience and employment status.
We are a small, but established (30 years) dental practice located in Chapel Hill. Most of our patients have been coming here for years and appreciate the friendly service and laid-back atmosphere that we provide. Our number one goal is to provide excellent service to our patients and make them feel comfortable, respected, and cared for throughout their visit to our office.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of dental assisting experience; however, we are willing to provide training for someone with the right personality. We are looking for someone who is positive, compassionate, careful, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience, every time. It's equally important that you work well with others, and are always willing to help another team member -- we're a tight-knit group! The doctor runs one restorative column and works at a comfortable (not rushed) pace. We are a general dental practice that is mainly focused on restorative dentistry.
We use Dentrix, and have digital x-rays and an iTero.
