Dude Therapy is seeking a per diem psychiatric prescriber to support both a solo practice and a small group practice in Connecticut. The role is outpatient and primarily serves adult men presenting with ADHD, PTSD, OCD, depression, and substance use. Treatment options include ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and other evidence-supported interventions.
Masters-level clinicians provide ongoing therapy and share clinical observations. The prescriber retains final medication decision-making authority and is expected to consider clinician input. The practices manage scheduling and billing.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut license as a PMHNP, APRN, or PA with psychiatric scope of practice
- DEA registration and current authority to prescribe buprenorphine
- Professional liability insurance in good standing
- Experience or demonstrated interest in ADHD, PTSD, OCD, depression, and ketamine-assisted treatment. Will be quizzed on medications during interview.
- Preferred: additional licensure in New York or North Carolina; dual training as a therapist
Schedule and Location
Per diem, hybrid, with flexible hours. Early morning, evening, or other non-standard times are acceptable provided patients are seen and care remains high quality. In-office sessions are held at 357 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT; remaining sessions are conducted via telehealth. Assignments may support the solo practice, the group practice, or both.
Compensation
75/25 split on collections.
