Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Finance Manager to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance and insurance (F&I), exceptional customer service skills, and a proven ability to maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with all lending regulations and dealership policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Present finance and insurance products to customers in a professional and ethical manner
- Secure financing through lenders and financial institutions
- Structure deals to maximize dealership profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and lender regulations
- Work closely with the sales team to finalize vehicle deliveries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and lenders
- Train and mentor sales staff on finance processes and product knowledge
- Monitor funding and contract status to ensure timely completion
- Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of Automotive Finance Manager experience
- Proven track record in automotive F&I performance
- Strong knowledge of lender programs and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) and CRM platforms
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Skills
- Menu-selling experience
- Knowledge of aftermarket products and warranties
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze credit reports and structure challenging deals
