Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs to ensure timely meal service
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by handling ingredients correctly and adhering to hygiene protocols
- Stock kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure all necessary items are readily available for food preparation
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve guests professionally
