As an AI & Machine Learning Intern in the Operations Finance team, you will join a collaborative team focused on improving operational performance through data. We are looking for a motivated candidate to help apply machine learning and automation techniques to operational datasets, supporting predictive analysis and workflow optimization across the network.

About The Role
As an AI & Machine Learning Intern in the Operations Finance team, you will join a collaborative team focused on improving operational performance through data. We are looking for a motivated candidate to help apply machine learning and automation techniques to operational datasets, supporting predictive analysis and workflow optimization across the network.
What You’ll Do
- Identifying manual operational tasks and exploring automation opportunities
- Building and testing models to classify and analyze structured business data
- Analyzing operational performance data to identify efficiency patterns
- Working with planning and scheduling data to explore forecasting approaches
- Reviewing operational metrics to detect bottlenecks or variability
- Presenting clear, data-driven insights to internal stakeholders
- Developing lightweight prototypes that reduce manual effort and can scale over time
- Translating analytical models into practical solutions that support real-world decision-making
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with common data and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
- Understanding of core machine learning concepts, including regression, classification, model evaluation, time series forecasting, and anomaly detection
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in evolving or ambiguous problem environments
- Interest in applying machine learning to operational and business use cases
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Prior completion of basic accounting/tax courses required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Practical experience with machine learning or AI projects
- Please share GitHub, portfolio, or project examples demonstrating applied Machine Learning work
