Automotive Service Advisor Writer

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at managing customer expectations while collaborating effectively with technicians.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide exceptional, professional service.

- Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.

- Manage the creation of repair orders, detailed estimates, and invoices.

- Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on technician inspections.

- Obtain customer authorization for repairs and provide proactive status updates.

- Coordinate workflow efficiently between customers, technicians, and the parts department.

- Schedule appointments and maintain meticulous customer records.

- Ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience from initial check-in through final vehicle delivery.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Writer or Service Advisor is a must.

- Strong technical knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.

- Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with shop management software is a must, Mitchell1.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
