What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Shipping/Packaging Technician position at Matrix VIP Pharmacy?
- Pull correct products from pharmacy inventory by accurately referencing drug names, strengths, and NDCs.
- Count and fill correct medications based on prescription information prior to pharmacist product review.
- Package medications in blister cards, vials, or other forms of packaging depending on product and location being serviced.
- Stage and organize all outgoing prescriptions for delivery personnel or UPS pick-up.
- Ensure proper cold-chain shipping materials are used for all refrigerated products.
- Perform other tasks as need in the pharmacy such as organizing and moving supplies, stocking inventory shelves, cleaning the pharmacy area, and other routine tasks as directed by the pharmacist.
- Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients and clinicians.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
