Overview

Join our team as an AI Co-op.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated AI Co-op to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge projects involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business process automation. As an AI Co-op, you will work closely with our internal teams to design, implement, and evaluate intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional environment, gain exposure to industry tools and workflows, and learn from experienced mentors in the AI domain.

This is an in-office role based out of our Maumee, OH office. The position is hourly and includes eligibility for overtime pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and business processes.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on recent AI research and industry trends.
• Document code, AI enabled business processes and underlying data landscape.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project presentations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business and Innovation, or a related field.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Proficiency
• Power Platform: Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps
• Microsoft Copilot: Familiarity with Copilot in M365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Azure AI Services: Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning
• Programming & Scripting
• Python: For data manipulation, automation, and AI model integration
• JavaScript or TypeScript: Useful for Power Apps and web-based integrations
• SQL: For working with databases and data pipelines
• AI & Machine Learning Fundamentals
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and basic ML concepts
• Experience with tools like OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or similar platforms
• Data Handling & Visualization
• Skills in cleaning, transforming, and visualizing data
• Experience with Power BI or other dashboarding tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and experiment with new AI technologies.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.

We offer market-competitive compensation for an AI Co-op with an hourly range of $22.00 to $24.00/hourly, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
