Position Overview
The Digital Media Engagement Specialist will play a key role in expanding the reach and impact of our digital medical content. This individual will be responsible for executing and optimizing multichannel engagement strategies — including email campaigns, social media, website content, video platforms, and digital advertising — to drive awareness and interaction among healthcare professionals and grow subscriber bases across platforms. Key Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of digital media campaigns across web, email, and social media platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, traffic, engagement) and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with editorial, design, and sales teams to align messaging and maximize audience reach and engagement.
• Foster sense of community around our brands through online engagement.
• Manage and update digital ad placements and tracking pixels (Google Tag Manager, AdButler, etc.).
• Assist with SEO, tagging, and analytics for web and email campaigns, in collaboration with data analyst.
• Engage professional audiences on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms to promote journal articles, videos, podcasts, and CME programs.
• Help maintain consistent brand voice and adherence to regulatory and medical accuracy standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or medical communications (agency or publishing experience preferred).
• Familiarity with HCP engagement tactics and compliance standards in healthcare marketing.
• Experience with tools such as ActiveCampaign, Campaign Monitor, HubSpot, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools, and ad servers (AdButler, DoubleClick, DoubleVerify, etc.).
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar) are a plus.
