We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
- Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking activities
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with external accountants during tax preparation and audits
- Identify process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP systems
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Experience with Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, construction, or professional services environment
- Payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of sales tax and multi-state transactions
Salary : $32 - $36
