Engineer

Matrix Drilling Products, a manufacturer of industry best drill rods & in-hole tools, is seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our fast-paced growing organization as an Engineer I / Drafter / Designer. The selected individual will become a member of our multi-disciplinary engineering team. This position is located at the TN manufacturing facility. Travel (less than 10%) may be required at times. Salary will depend upon experience.

Primary responsibilities:

·        Drafting and Detailing parts, assemblies, and drawings

·        Manage R&D projects from design phase through fabrication including hands-on implementation and bench testing of components

·        Follow, adjust, and maintain modeling and drawing standards, revision control, and implementation of BOM from CAD into ERP system

Minimum Qualifications include:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent field

·        Previous experience with CAD/ CAM Software. SolidWorks preferred

·        Previous experience with ERP System is desired

·        Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

·        Microsoft Office Proficiency

·        Must be a self-starter and work well within a team environment

·        Must be able to meet project deadlines

·        Must have basic shop skills

·        Must be able to work independently and with shop staff to bring projects to fruition

Other Requirements

·        The selected candidate will be required to pass an MVR, Drug, background, and reference screening

Education/Experience: BS Engineering
