This role is responsible for overseeing residential basement remodeling projects, managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, maintaining schedules, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Field Manager serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating between sales, design, production, and homeowners.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential basement remodeling projects simultaneously
- Oversee daily jobsite operations from pre-construction through completion
- Conduct pre-construction meetings and jobsite walk-throughs
- Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and local building codes
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors (framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, etc.)
- Enforce Matrix standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Maintain project schedules and ensure on-time completion
- Perform quality control inspections at each phase of construction
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners during construction
- Provide regular project updates and resolve customer concerns
- Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to jobsite safety standards
- Manage permits, inspections, and documentation as required
- Document job progress, punch lists, and close-out items
- Utilize company systems and tools to track project status
- Collaborate with sales, design, and leadership teams
- Assist in establishing field operations and processes for the Madison market
Qualifications/Skills
- 3-5 years of field experience in Construction is REQUIRED
- Communicating with both customers and business partners effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Management of installation teams - Proven Success Records
- Ability to work through a punch list
- CRM or Scheduling software proficiency
- Multi-tasking skills required
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Base salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience
