- Class A CDL Driver – Nights, Full Time – Dedicated Run, FedEx Albany Terminal
We have a dedicated Night Solo run opening out of the FedEx Albany Terminal. Apply soon, because this run will fill quickly.
The Run
- Dedicated run, 5 days a week
- Leave the Albany terminal around 9:00 PM and return around 5:00 AM
- Drop and hook. You never touch the freight.
- You’ll operate between FedEx terminals
Pay
- $1,500 per week for the 5-day run, safety bonus included
- $1,800 per week if you work one extra day
- $2,300 per week if you add one short local spot run each day
- Paid by direct deposit every Friday
About Us
We’re a fast-growing independent contractor for FedEx Ground, and we need safe, reliable Class A drivers out of Albany, NY. We have three full-time managers and 46 tractors. FedEx Albany is one of the busiest and fastest-growing terminals in the country.
Requirements
Please apply only if you meet ALL of the following:
- Class A with Doubles Endorsement
- Must have 1 YEAR experience within the last three years OR must have 5 years experience within the last 10 years.
- Must be 21 years or older
- Clean driving record for the last three years.
- No DUI's, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, suspended licenses.
- No accidents. (Parking tickets are ok)
- Clean background/ criminal record. No felonies or no misdemeanors. We will run a FULL background investigation.
- Must pass physical and drug test
- Legal status to work in the USA
- Must have conversational English
- Must be punctual, energetic and reliable
- Must be able to pass a road test including DOT pre & post-trip routine

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle for FedEx Linehaul Dedicated Run.
- Transport goods in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Ensure proper handling of freight and trailers.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tractor-trailer equipment.
