Job Title: Product Owner- Data Acquisition/ Data Lake
Duration: 12-18 month contract
Location: Charlotte, NC
Project Details:
- 12-18 month contract
- W2 Only
- Hybrid schedule: mandatory 3x onsite per week
- Lead initiatives focused on consolidating and standardizing enterprise data within a modern Data Lakehouse environment
- Bring together data from multiple source systems, cleanse and standardize data, and deliver curated datasets for downstream business use
- Support large-scale financial data platforms utilized across business and global banking teams
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to improve data quality, governance, metadata management, and scalable data processes
- Drive Agile product delivery including epics, user stories, user journeys, and cross-functional execution
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience with a strong data background, preferably within Data Lakehouse environments
- Agile experience with creating epics, user stories, and managing user journeys
- Hands-on experience with Rally and Jira
- Strong understanding of metadata management, identifying data gaps, and building scalable processes
- Knowledge of financial data domains
- Passion for working with and organizing complex data sets
- Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams
- Experience driving product initiatives and leading teams to execution
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ownership mentality
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Tableau; basic experience is sufficient
Required Pay Scale: $73-$76/hr/W2
