Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst responsible for delivering data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals and initiatives. The Data Analyst drives enterprise-wide capacity management and data platform insights by building scalable analytics solutions within the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Partnering with engineering, platform, finance, and operations teams, this role delivers accurate capacity, usage, and forecasting insights to support strategic planning, cost optimization, and platform modernization across enterprise platforms such as Hadoop and Teradata.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data development, or analytics engineering within large-scale enterprise data warehouse platforms and distributed data systems, including Hadoop, Teradata, and cloud or hybrid data platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with HDFS, Ozone, and Teradata, including use of HDFS CLI commands to assess storage consumption, along with familiarity with S3-compatible object storage concepts (volumes, buckets, keys).
- Experience working with monitoring and metrics systems such as Prometheus and Grafana to support platform visibility, trend analysis and operational insights.
- Proficiency in SQL across Teradata, Hive, Impala, and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining performant data models and transformations in large-scale environments.
- Experience building and supporting analytical datasets, forecasting models, and dashboards to enable enterprise capacity management, utilization analysis, and operational and executive reporting.
- Hands-on experience consuming REST APIs and loading API-driven datasets into persisted tables to support procuring point in time data.
- Proven experience automating recurring capacity and operational reporting, reducing manual effort while improving data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
