Sales and Customer Service Associate

DESCRIPTION
Our customer service / sales associates are the face and voice of our company! They take an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships. They also assist with store merchandising and the changeover of store layouts. We are looking for candidates who are team oriented, compassionate, take initiative, and most of all are committed to providing world-class customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER

• Provide an exceptional customer experience, over the phone, in store, and online that inspires repeat business.
• Resolves customer concerns effectively and efficiently while keeping management informed.

OPERATIONS

• Aesthetically presents and wraps flowers and product
• Enters orders in the POS system and gathers customer information and signatures.
• Merchandises products on the sales floor.
• Sweeps, cleans, and rearranges products to ensure a clean retail environment and safe work area.
• Opens and closes gift shop and balances registers at the beginning and end of day.

TEAM

• Ensures compliance with all company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Supports and assists all team members as needed.
• Takes initiative and looks for ways to improve the sales department.
• Maintains neat and clean appearance.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Self-starter who is energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
• Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
• Successfully works independently for extended periods of time.
• Interest in flowers and gardening is preferred but we will train the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
