RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONS
- Creates floral designs incorporating an innovative use of colors, floral and accent materials, and vessels.
- Review orders and confirms details to ensure customer specifications and style are met.
- Maintains, personal and shared, clean, organized, and functional work space.
- Maintains confidential customer information.
- Infrequent, but occasional client contact and sales responsibility.
TEAM
- Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Supports and assists team members on as needed basis.
- Takes initiative and looks for ways to improve the design department.
- Maintains neat and clean appearance.
CUSTOMER
- Provides an exceptional customer experience that inspires repeat business.
- Addresses clients concerns and informs Manager immediately.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum five years of custom floral design experience in a high-volume floral shop or design studio required.
- Experience designing high-quality wedding and funeral work, and on-site wedding installations required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 25 lbs on regular basis.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Self starter who is energetic and flexible.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
- Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
- Forms strong working relationships within team.
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
- An eye for creativity and design
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
