The Role:
- Managing and handling all aspects of cases, from inception to conclusion.
- Conducting depositions, mediations, making court appearances, and actively participating in trials.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Helping manage a docket with a wide variety of insurance cases.
- Undertaking comprehensive legal tasks, such as preparing case assessments, communicating with clients, preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, and attending mediations, arbitrations and trials.
- Taking charge of depositions and making regular court appearances.
- Working up cases and actively participating at trial.
- Working directly with partners who provide guidance to a diverse set of carrier clients on a range of unique issues across the state.
- Working directly with clients.
Qualifications:
- Must possess 1-3 years of legal experience.
- Solid academic credentials.
- Proficient writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with training and assistance from partners as needed.
- A fervent desire to be present and active in the courtroom.
- Client-focused mindset with an emphasis on team collaboration
